We are pleased to welcome you to the University of Southampton’s Virtual Careers Exchange. This will be our largest Careers Fair this academic year exclusively for all students and alumni.

This fantastic 3D virtual event is hosted over 2 days for you to engage with a wide range of employers in a variety of ways. Internships, placements and graduate opportunities across numerous sectors will be available for you to discover and discuss with the exhibitors.

Once registered you can browse the Careers Fair on multiple occasions and be able to access the information for 30 days after the event.

This fantastic 3D virtual event is hosted over 2 days for you to engage with a wide range of employers in a variety of ways. Internships, placements and graduate opportunities across numerous sectors will be available for you to discover and discuss with the exhibitors.
10am – 4pm, 22nd and 23rd October. The fair can be viewed for 30 days once the event has concluded, however, the opportunity to interact with employers is limited to the event times listed.
This is a fully online event. You can participate in any location on your desktop, mobile or tablet devices. You just need to be connected to the internet.
There will be an opportunity to engage with employers from a diverse range of sectors and find out more about their work experience opportunities and graduate vacancies. Exhibitors will have information available to download and options for either webchats, audio calls or video calls. There will be webinars each day in which you can ask questions to the speakers. Please see the agenda to find out more. Each host will have files available to add to your virtual cart, then download for free at the end of your visit.
No, this event is for UoS students and alumni from every discipline.
Yes, you will need to enter your name and email address to access all Virtual Careers Exchange features. Book your space now.
No, you don’t need to download any software to partake in this event. You need to be connected to the internet on your desktop, mobile or tablet. It is always better to be prepared with audio and video if you would like to engage with potential employers.
Your login details will be emailed to you when you register for the online event. You can use these details to access the Virtual Careers Exchange.
